On August 7, 2017, Doris Elizabeth Bentz (nee Turner) passed away. Born in Canton on June 22, 1926, Doris was a devoted member of the Our Lady of Fatima Parish and their Jolly and Leisure Clubs. Doris was a dedicated volunteer at Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital, an avid reader, knowledgeable baseball fan, talented seamstress and world traveler. She was predeceased by her beloved husband M. Edward Bentz, her sister Margaret Hoerner, her son-in-laws Ronald Amereihn and Bruce Seboda. She is survived by her beloved daughters Deborah Bentz, Judith Bentz-Amerhein, Karen Adams, Janet Kratfel, son-in-laws Peter...

Doris was a dedicated volunteer at Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital, an avid reader, knowledgeable baseball fan, talented seamstress and world traveler. She was predeceased by her beloved husband M. Edward Bentz, her sister Margaret Hoerner, her son-in-laws Ronald Amereihn and Bruce Seboda. She is survived by her beloved daughters Deborah Bentz, Judith Bentz-Amerhein, Karen Adams, Janet Kratfel, son-in-laws Peter Adams and Michael Kratfel, cherished granddaughters Natalie and Brigid Kratfel, nieces Denise O'Donnell, Linda McCoach, nephews Mark Hoerner and Owen O'Donnell.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing at Charles S. Zeiler Funeral Home 6224 Eastern Avenue 21224 on Thursday from 2:30 pm-4:30 pm and 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church at 10:00 am on Friday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Associated Catholic Charities. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
